A joint study group of Prof. K. Mashima, Assoc. Prof. H. Tsurugi, Specially Appointted Assis. Prof. T. Yurino (Osaka Univ.), Director K. Sato, Dr. S. Tanaka, and Dr. Y. Shimizu (AIST) achieved the preparation of amorphous Ni nanoparticles which show catalytic activity for C-C bond formation reactions.
