High Performance Epoxy Resin for Sealant of Semiconductors

Dr. Yoshiiro Kon, Senior Researcher of Innovarive Oxidation Team, and Dr. Kazuhiko Sato, and Showa Denko K.K.(SDK) proposed an effective with clean synthetic method of useful epoxide which is used as sealant of electronic devices using hydrogen peroxide. The oxidation system proceeds under halide-free conditions and the generated epoxide showed high insulating performance.
