Flowtechnologyhasconsiderableadvantagesinmass-andheattransfer,safetyandeaseofscale-up,whencomparedtotraditionalbatchreactions.Furthermore,hazardouschemistriessuchashighlyexothermicreactions,orthoseinvolvingunstableortoxicintermediatescanbeoperatedsafelyinflow,wherebythistechnologyactsasapowerfulroute-enabler.Inthislecture,contributionsfromourresearchgroupinthefieldofcontinuousflowprocessingintheareasshownbelowwillbehighlighted.
